ack in July we brought you the sad story of William and Jill Johnson, two grandparents who were asked by the state to become foster parents to their grandson after the boy were taken from his parents. The Johnson’s willingly accepted and were ready to take the child in, when the state told them that they would also have to register all of their firearms with the state.
One Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) official told the Johnson’s that “if you want to care for your grandson you will have to give up some of your constitutional rights.”
