Sen. Warren Commits to Pushing More Gun Bans
From coast-to-coast, gun haters are doubling down in an effort to ban — and even confiscate — firearms.
In Oregon, the Democrat Governor signed a gun confiscation bill into law in July.
As explained to me by Kevin Starrett of the Oregon Firearms Federation, “SB 719 calls for the forced confiscation of property by the police without any due process or accusation — let alone any conviction of a crime. Plus, it allows people with no mental health credentials to make assessments of a gun owner’s state of mind, while allowing people with no mental health credentials (judges) to punish people they have never met or spoken to.
“Not only that, the law actually allows a judge to order a confiscation of firearms based on nothing more than the fact that the person lawfully purchased a firearm in the last 6 months.”
