Critics of the bill say it could lead to more suicides — in one recent year, an average of 20 veterans per day died from suicide, according to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

  1. Wierd isn’t it.
Handling steel calms me. It’s also used as a therapy for PTSD and stress in general as it’s a great way of relaxing the mind and body.

Yet the real question should be, why aren’t the VA helping those who are suffering from PTSD instead of writing them off and making them social pariah?
As for the 20 vets a day (God bless them) why should anyone believe a failed care system who are passing the buck onto those who can no longer answer back?

I kinda think that’s the easy answer.

Vets need help, what is not needed is a management like your VA has.

So shoot the bosses by all means and the political aholes behind them for all I care BUT the VA must continue to help those who need help and put those who really care in charge.

        Consider this my friend.
In the UK, after medical discharge, there is very little long term help. Especially for those hurting mentally.

We’ve got Charities who do good things, SAFA, but that’s about it.

Broken and elderly vets need help, they deserve help, it MUST be their right to receive free, quality help.

Who pays? How much does the US (and UK) government GIVE AWAY in foreign aid again?
