R3: The plaintiff may possibly be in a position to request accomodation of delivery or, ask for a ruling on a secured vault device if installed and locked, while parked at the unsecure USPS parking lot. But why even get into all this if concealment of the weapon is lawful and all that is required?

  1. Because the post office contends that even if you are walking down the street on the sidewalk past the post office and are carrying a weapon you have violated federal law.

    • I have never heard of USPS having ability to extend their property lines. Federal government is not supposed to have real property rights as it belongs to the People, or the specific municipality, private owner, or the State. In fact, that is part of the Oregon Seige group’s grievances. In NYC, I never had any problems with the “mailbox police”, and found them to be okay people but, I was a cop, and maybe that is why they were friendly. Have any local cops that you could discuss matters with?
